Course Overview

Take your canoeing up a level with our two-day adventure - Lake District Canoe White Water Progression. This white water canoe trip takes in the likes of the Leven, Eden, Lune, Greta and Tees - some of the amazing rivers we have on our doorstep.

With 20 years of experience coaching paddlesports in the Lakes, we know how to get the best river conditions, the smoothest lines and fun moves on the rapids so that you can make the most of your time on the water. When we’re not working, we’ll be found on the rivers and can't wait to show you our local playground. Over two days of coaching, we will develop your paddling, showing you precise cutting edge techniques, and help you move your paddling up a notch so that you will leave with a clear path for future development.

We’ll start off by brushing up any gaps in boat manoeuvring and swiftly move on to setting your aims for the two days. From driving the boat around holes and waves, to backing off the gas to let the boat ride high through features, and using the hull of the boat to keep the water out, we have loads of techniques, hints and tips to give you.

From the wide open Eden, tight and twisty Lune to the bigger volume Leven, we’ll pick the rivers to suit the group and get the best from the conditions. The Lakes is the perfect location to move your paddling on from ‘getting down the rapid’ to consistently hitting your chosen line.

We’ll refresh the fundamentals, and like all our courses give you the techniques that continue to work in the most advanced conditions. We'll work as a team to develop your analysis of the rapids ensuring you have the tools to plan your route, tactics and safety cover.
